Good news! Your Banneton dough proofing baskets do not need much maintenance! Basically, just remove any excess flour or sourdough starter residue from inside of the bread proofing basket after each use. Let any remaining stuck dough dry and then use a stiff brush to take it off. Never immerse it in the water! Please, never bake your bread in the proofing basket. The basket is for proofing only.
